I bid on this item at Ebay Philippines because it's cheap. The price was 200 Pesos (around 5 Dollars), excluding shipping fee.
The item arrived without box, it was wrapped with bubble wraps and has a small manual sheet.
I didn't bother googling for Baby Company. I have no idea if it was a clothing store for kids or anything. But the plastic camera has a sticker of animals near its lens, I think it is enough to say that it was made for kids (as if the yellow green color wasn't enough hint hehehe).
I was just starting in Lomography when I bought it, and I was interested with any cheap plastic film cameras that I see. I bought around four other cameras during that time, so basically this avocado-colored camera remained inside my camera collection box, as I was testing the four other cameras.
Not until two months and a half, I was finally able to use this cute little camera during a Photo Walk (or Lomo Walk) with around thirty Lomomanila members.
It was an attention grabber! A six-foot tall guy using a yellow-green kid camera was a total stand out. Hahaha
It has 28mm focal lenght, and a fixed shutter speed of around 1/125, I believe. So shooting must be done on a really sunny day.
It is small that, I often accidentally place my finger in front of the lens. Luckily there are a lot of friends around to notify me with this stupidity. hehehe
I used an expired ASA800 Konika Centuria film. Actually I thought I had loaded a black and white film.
When The developed rolls came out, I was surprised with the results.
